WorldSkills Equipment Sale
WorldSkills London 2011 was a resounding success, thanks to the skills and dedication of tutors, competitors and the support of the Further Education sector.
State of the art equipment and materials used at the event are now available, for a limited window, to the FE sector to purchase at significantly below cost rates. A catalogue detailing all the equipment is now available on the WorldSkills website. From Monday 7 November to 9am Monday 14 November the equipment can only be viewed and is not yet on sale. During this period new items will be added daily.
We are pleased to be continuing the grant support from the Agency enabling colleges and training organisations in England who are on the Approved College and Training Organisation Register and have an existing direct contract with the Skills Funding Agency to apply for a 50% grant. Full details of the equipment available and the grant process can be found on the WorldSkills website.
Following the agreed exclusivity period from 7 – 26 November (1 week viewing and 2 weeks purchasing) the catalogue will be transferred to an online ‘shop’ and will be publicised to the wider education sector and the general public.
